Release Manager

Release Manager - Large Banking Organization (Rishon LeZion)

A major banking organization in Rishon LeZion is seeking a Release Manager for a central and impactful role.

Role Responsibilities:

Managing release processes across all platforms:

• Ownership of the annual and quarterly release schedules
• Planning, coordinating, and leading all release stages from Development (DEV), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance (PERF), through to Production (PROD)
• Managing release distribution for Web, Backend, iOS, and Android platforms
• Working closely with squad teams including Scrum Masters and Product Managers to ensure content readiness prior to release
• Coordinating regression, performance, sanity testing, and pilot phases before production deployment

Managing work environment and relevant forums:

• Leading weekly production forums, including approval processes
• Conducting ongoing status meetings with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and DevOps teams
• Coordinating and leading risk assessment meetings ahead of releases
• Working closely with Development Managers, DBAs, DevOps teams, and external teams during integration processes

Release methodology management and improvement:

• Ownership of Jira, Confluence, and additional tools for release tracking and documentation
• Optimizing deployment processes for Web, Mobile applications, and Backend systems
• Ensuring version compliance with information security, regulatory, and compliance requirements

Requirements:

Professional experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Release Management within large technology-driven organizations
• Experience with Mobile Release Management including iOS and Android releases
• Experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD
• Experience managing Deployment and Release processes in complex multi-environment infrastructures
• Experience working with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - strong advantage
• Understanding of CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, and supporting tools
• Experience with Fastlane, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console for mobile release management - strong advantage
• Basic knowledge of SQL and DBA concepts - an advantage
