Tech Lead C++

We’re working with an Israeli startup building an execution engine for large-scale data workloads. The platform accelerates analytics by unifying pipelines, reducing execution overhead, and maximizing compute efficiency, with the team owning over 90% of the execution path.

The company is entering a strong growth phase, with much of the engineering focused on building new platform capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop core runtime and execution-engine components in C++.
• Shape how workloads are planned, scheduled, and executed across the runtime, CPU, and FPGA acceleration layer.
• Design and improve the runtime systems that drive resource allocation and workload orchestration.
• Optimize performance across memory management, concurrency, data movement, and execution efficiency.
• Investigate bottlenecks and redesign execution paths to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Contribute to architectural decisions across a platform that is still being actively built and evolved, with significant influence on technical direction.
• Mentor engineers and help drive technical excellence across the team.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong C++ development experience (C experience is also relevant).
• Deep understanding of multithreading, synchronization, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Experience building performance-sensitive systems where efficiency and scalability matter.
• A systems-oriented mindset and the ability to reason across multiple layers of the stack.
• Experience in leading projects, driving technical direction, or managing engineers - big advantage
• Interest in areas such as runtimes, execution engines, databases, compilers, infrastructure, or other low-level systems.
