Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the Role

At LAYA, we’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our R&D team and help build and scale our products and dev services.

You’ll develop functionality that powers our mobile app and internal systems, work within a Scrum team, collaborate with your teammates, and use AI-powered development tools to boost productivity and quality.

We’re looking for a fast learner, strong team player, and someone with leadership potential who wants to grow and develop within the organization.

What You’ll Work On

• Develop and improve backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Develop and improve frontend services using Flutter.

• Develop and improve back-office/Retool services using JavaScript, React, etc.

• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL on data modeling and efficient data access.

• Support the mobile app by building and optimizing APIs, integrations, and backend logic required for app features.

• Participate in planning, design discussions, and code reviews within a Scrum team.

• Work closely with product and engineering teammates to deliver end-to-end features.

• Explore new technologies and contribute ideas to improve engineering processes.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in Backend Development.

• 1+ years of frontend development experience – Advantage.

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

• Experience in Scrum or Agile environments.

• Experience with Claude Code.

• Comfortable using AI-powered development tools.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Strong self-learning abilities and a proactive mindset.

• Strong ownership, leadership mindset, and a desire to grow into a leadership role within the organization.

• Familiar with Flutter – Advantage.

• Experience supporting or working with mobile applications – Advantage.

• Previous mentoring or team-leading experience – Advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field – Advantage.
