Full-stack Developer

Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Full-stack Developer role based in Kfar Ruppin, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Full-stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications across the front-end and back-end, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Daily work includes implementing new features, writing clean and testable code, integrating with internal and external APIs, and collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers. The role also involves reviewing code, participating in architecture and design discussions, troubleshooting production issues, and continuously improving the development process. The developer will help evolve Alteco’s energy management platform to support new market models, regulatory changes, and customer needs.
Qualifications

• Strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience delivering production-grade web applications.
• Proficiency in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful APIs, integrating with databases, and optimizing server-side performance.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, code review, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with data-intensive or real-time systems, especially in energy, utilities, or related domains, is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
