The Connectivity team is looking for a highly skilled, business-aligned technologist responsible for the design, delivery and maintenance of exchanges’ low latency connectivity solutions and identifying new business opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Work with external vendors to design, implement and deliver low latency connectivity solutions both from a technical and business perspective.
• Lead the on boarding of new trading platforms and integration projects. Work closely with R&D, Research, IT, Risk, Compliance.
• Deep dive into Exchanges’ technological architecture (GWs, APIs, network topology) to make sure optimal implementation is in place.
• Stay up to date with platform upgrades/changes.
• Stay current with existing, emerging, and evolving technologies in the HFT industry.
• Identify and lead new business opportunities.
• Analyze trading behaviors to identify technological deficiencies.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager (or other in-depth technical role), with a strong track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects.
• Familiarity with network components and configurations (reading network topology, tracing IP routes, pcap files)
• Strong analytical decision-making skills, business thinking, Independent and organized.
• Experience with BI tools (Spotfire, Grafana) and a data driven approach.
• You should be able to discuss and negotiate technical tradeoffs with software engineers and present project status to senior management.
• Ability to work independently and in ambiguous situations.
  
  

• Experience as a software engineer.
• Experience in troubleshooting logs (Application logs, pcaps, FIX logs).
• Experience with low latency trading solutions (Exchanges architecture, trading APIs, low latency network components, known vendors, HFT common practices)
• Familiarity with Financial markets.
