Network Security Specialist

Network & Information Security Specialist | Nationwide Travel | Full-Time

Mertens Malam Team is seeking an experienced Network & Information Security Specialist to join a leading healthcare organization operating nationwide. This is an exciting opportunity to work with critical communication and security infrastructures, lead strategic technology projects, and support advanced enterprise environments across multiple campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, operate, and maintain enterprise communication infrastructures and critical networking and information security systems across nationwide campuses.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex communication and security-related incidents.
• Install, configure, and maintain networking equipment and infrastructure components.
• Manage technology risks and enforce organizational information security policies.
• Lead communication and information security projects from planning through implementation.
• Work with advanced networking technologies and enterprise-scale environments.
• Provide on-site support across multiple locations and participate in after-hours activities when required.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Network Technician or Network Specialist.
• Hands-on experience working with Cisco switching environments.
• Proven experience with Software-Defined Access (SDA) technologies.
• Experience leading and managing communication infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with Cisco ISE, including Profiling and 802.1X implementation.
• CCNP certification – mandatory.
