DBA Infrastructure & Application Specialist | Jerusalem | Public Sector Organization

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring an experienced Infrastructure and Application DBA for a public sector organization in Jerusalem.

Responsibilities:

Manage the organization’s database activity, including setup, maintenance, operation, and support.

Serve as an Infrastructure DBA with strong application-level capabilities.

Support SQL Server environments across multiple servers.

Optimize, troubleshoot, and improve complex SQL processes and database performance.

Work with Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, and SQL Functions, including development, debugging, and optimization.

Apply database design and normalization principles as part of ongoing database management.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in a multi-server environment.

Proven expertise in SQL, including deep knowledge of writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.

Experience developing, debugging, and optimizing Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, and SQL Functions.

Strong understanding of database normalization and database design principles.

Ability to work with tools such as Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD).
