Why PayMe?

PayMe is a Tel Aviv based FinTech startup providing the world's leading 360 financial solution for small businesses — payments, vendor payments, financing, invoicing and bookkeeping. We're processing billions in volume for 100,000+ businesses, and we're just getting started. We believe you should "Let The Baker Bake!"

This is a new kind of role — part product manager, part engineer. You map out what's needed and then build it, using AI as your core toolkit. Not specs handed off, not prototypes for someone else to finish — you ship working, production-grade tools and agentic systems yourself.

If you want a comfortable role with clean requirements and slow processes, this isn't for you. If you want to identify real problems and ship the tools that solve them — keep reading.

• Identify needs across product, operations, support, finance and R&D, and build the solutions end-to-end.
• Design, build and ship agentic workflows and internal tools — to production, not just prototype.
• Use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex and similar) as your primary build method.
• Orchestrate multi-agent flows using the Claude Agent SDK and equivalent frameworks.
• Turn messy inputs, customer pain, and operational bottlenecks into clear priorities and shipped tools.
• Own the full lifecycle of what you create — discovery, deployment, adoption, maintenance.
• Be accountable for outcomes: automation rate, support reduction, time saved, and adoption.
  

• The terminal / CLI as your primary interface — you live in a shell, not a GUI.
• Git, including branching and worktrees (e.g. running parallel agents in isolated worktrees).
• SSH into remote servers; managing environment variables and secrets.
• REST APIs and webhooks — building, consuming, and testing them (curl, Postman).
• AI coding agents — Claude Code and/or Codex, used to ship real tools, not tutorials.
• LLM tool use / function calling and structured outputs.
• MCP (Model Context Protocol) — wiring up and building servers.
• The Claude Agent SDK (or an equivalent agentic framework) for multi-agent flows.
• RAG / vector search — e.g. pgvector, Pinecone, or similar.
  

We hire people who already build this way every day, not people who will learn on the job. Don't apply if:

• The terms above are mostly unfamiliar to you — MCP, tool use, the Agent SDK, git worktrees, SSH, webhooks, RAG.
• You don't have a GitHub account.
• You've used Claude Code or Codex a handful of times and think that qualifies you.
• You want clean requirements, slow processes, and a comfortable pace.
  

• Automation tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar frameworks.
• Docker / containerization; deploying to a VPS or cloud (AWS).
• Observability and tracing for agents (Langfuse, LangSmith).
• Former founder or entrepreneurial operator.
• FinTech or payments product experience.
