Role Description:

We are seeking a Software Team Leader to join the R&D organization. Reporting to the R&D Director, you will lead a team of three developers (both local and offshore), with responsibility for both managerial and technical guidance.

You will own the software development plan for a newly developed monitoring platform. As part of the role, you will collaborate with global teams to drive development processes, synchronize workflows, and represent your team in global forums. The position requires maturity, independence, and strong ability to build productive relationships with international stakeholders.

The role is partially hands‑on and includes approximately 20%–40% active development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small software team (local and offshore), including task planning and performance guidance
• Own and drive the development roadmap for a new monitoring platform
• Design and implement software components in C++ on Linux and RT embedded environments
• Collaborate closely with global R&D, product and system teams to align requirements, interfaces and delivery timelines
• Represent the team in global meetings, provide status updates, and coordinate cross‑team dependencies
• Promote and implement best practices in software development, testing and documentation

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field from a recognized university
• At least 5 years of proven hands‑on development experience in C++
• Proven experience working with Linux – mandatory
• Experience in development for real‑time embedded systems – mandatory
• At least 2 years of experience managing a small team or acting as a Tech Lead
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with global, cross‑functional teams
• High level of independence, ownership and maturity
