Neuroscience Specialist

Job Description

• Lead applied scientific research in the fields of neuroscience, cognition, and perception, with a strong focus on the connection between the brain, vision, and behavior.
• Develop objective metrics and appropriate tests to evaluate visual and functional performance using various vision solutions in clinical trials.
• Plan, initiate, and lead experimental studies in vision science, cognition, and behavior.
• Bridge the gap between basic neuroscience research and practical applications in optical and vision products.
• Conduct statistical analysis on experimental data and build models to explain and predict performance.
• Engage actively in scientific writing and the presentation of research findings.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Neuroscience or Cognition (Mandatory); a PhD is a significant advantage.
• Proven experience in designing and executing experimental research (Mandatory).
• Experience in statistical data analysis (Mandatory).
• High-level proficiency in English across reading, writing, and presenting (Mandatory).
• Strong research orientation, scientific curiosity, and highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent scientific articulation skills, both written and verbal.
• High personal responsibility with the ability to lead processes and work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Mental flexibility and the ability to seamlessly connect basic research to industrial applications.
• Experience working with data analysis tools such as Python, Matlab, R, SPSS, or JMP is an advantage.
• Programming experience is a significant advantage.
