Data Scientist Team Lead

A leading defense company in the Be’er Yaakov area is looking for a Data Scientist Team Lead to join a highly technological and multidisciplinary environment, working on advanced electro-optical systems, computer vision, image processing, and data analysis.

Role Description

The role includes leading a team responsible for developing tools for development verification and data generation for electro-optical seeker systems, while remaining hands-on and working closely with the team.

As part of the role, you will:

• Lead and manage a technological development team
• Develop tools for data analysis and system performance verification
• Work hands-on together with the team
• Collaborate with parallel development groups, including System Engineering, Physics, and Algorithms teams
• Lead the analysis of system performance through tool development, usage, and presentation of results
• Perform data research, analysis, and interpretation

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Software Engineering - mandatory
• Experience managing a team of several employees - mandatory
• At least 3 years of experience developing data analysis tools
• Strong experience with MATLAB and Python - mandatory
• Knowledge of image processing and computer vision - significant advantage
• Experience with C - advantage
• Strong leadership skills and ability to drive employees toward goals
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal skills
