Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Wint is looking for a strategic, hands-on FP&A Manager to take full ownership of the company's financial planning and analysis. Reporting to the Controller, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, modelling, and performance analysis across every part of the business. As a collaborative team player and trusted partner to senior leadership within the Finance team, you will turn complex numbers into clear, practical recommendations that guide decisions and fuel long-term growth.

You will be the owner of the numbers that matter most to a subscription business - tracking ARR/MRR, growth, and retention, and making sure revenue recognition (Rev Rec) ties cleanly to our financial models so that the reporting tells the real story of the business.

This role sits at the intersection of classic corporate finance and modern, AI-driven operations. You will build the automation, agentic workflows, and FP&A foundations a fast-growing SaaS company needs to scale. You are comfortable when systems and data are still a work in progress, favouring practical, iterative solutions over waiting for the perfect one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning & Partnering: Own the full budgeting cycle and long-range planning. Work together with department heads on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to guide headcount planning and operational budgets.
• AI Systems & Workflow Automation: Put AI tools to work building and running agentic workflows. You will independently automate data extraction from ERP systems, surface anomalies, generate predictive BvA reporting, and forecast cash flow.
• Unit Economics & P&L Mastery: Take full ownership of SaaS metrics, unit economics, and the complete P&L. Build and monitor a broad set of financial ratios that keep capital efficiency and operational health in clear view.
• Data-Driven Decision Support: Supply the analytical backbone for complex pricing decisions and strategic pivots, acting as a go-to advisor to senior leadership.
• Finance & Accounting Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Finance team to keep financial models in sync with operational reality - spanning revenue recognition, billing, and accounting outputs.
• Advanced BvA & Performance Analysis: Stand up a monthly variance-analysis process that turns results into forward-looking insight on burn.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or another quantitative field.
• Full professional fluency in English, written and spoken.
• 4+ years in FP&A SaaS metrics including hardware.
• A track record of building FP&A processes, models, and reporting structures from scratch in a high-growth setting.
• Hands-on Salesforce experience - extracting, analysing, and reconciling CRM and pipeline data.
• Experience working with AI tools to automate financial operations/models.
• Advanced Excel and financial-modelling skills, along with experience using FP&A systems and automation tools.
• Precise and accurate, well-organized, detail-minded, and dependable on deadlines.
• A self-starter and self-motivated, with a team-first attitude.

Nice-to-Have:

• CPA qualification.
• Hands-on experience implementing FP&A systems.
• Practical experience applying revenue recognition (Rev Rec) under ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
• Familiarity with the Priority ERP system.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and the like).
