Head and Chief Scientist of the Schlesinger Center for Compact Accelerators and Radiation, a national research facility specializing in the development and operation of compact particle accelerators, electromagnetic radiation sources, and electron-beam based technologies. The facility comprises a THz Superradiant FEL under development in collaboration of Ariel and Tel-Aviv Universities (https://www.ariel.ac.il/wp/fel/).
The candidate should qualify for a senior tenure-track position in either the Physics Department or the Electrical Engineering Department of Ariel University, Israel. He is expected to demonstrate an excellent record in advanced experimental electromagnetics, nuclear physics, radiation physics, plasma physics, accelerator science, and related fields.
