Role Description
Independent Contractor | 10–20 hours per week | Remote (preferred in Israel / Tel Aviv) | Hebrew & English required
The Sivananda Yoga Tel Aviv Centre is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Assistant to support the Director of Programming & Marketing in Israel.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating events from concept through execution, working across programming, marketing, sales, and production to bring meaningful offerings to life. The primary focus is overseeing the program calendar and helping ensure that courses and events are well planned, well promoted, and well attended.
Responsibilities
● Coordinate the annual and ongoing calendar of programs for the Sivananda Yoga Tel Aviv Centre, including:
- onsite and online courses
- professional trainings
- retreats
- workshops and special events
● Work closely with the Director of Programming & Marketing to plan and schedule new offerings
● Research and outreach to potential guest teachers, speakers, and collaborators
● Coordinate logistics for events, including contracts, scheduling, and hotel/vendor communication when needed
● Collaborate with the marketing agency, sales team, and production team to ensure each offering is launched smoothly and receives the support needed to drive registrations
● Monitor registration progress and maintain regular communication with marketing and sales partners around promotional timelines and performance
● Support event production and implementation as needed
Qualifications
● Fluent in Hebrew and English (written and spoken)
● Strong organizational and project coordination skills with excellent attention to detail
● Experience in event programming, project management, marketing coordination, or a related role
● Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces across teams and timelines
● Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
● Experience working with contracts, scheduling, and event logistics is highly preferred
● Interest in yoga, wellness, education, or conscious community programming is a plus
