Cyber Security Engineer (SIEM/SOC Lead)

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to lead and develop our SIEM/SOC capabilities. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cyber defense, monitoring, and building security processes in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

SIEM/SOC Leadership

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of the organization’s SIEM/SOC capabilities
• Oversee cyber monitoring activities and incident detection processes
• Define and document incident response procedures and playbooks

Security Governance & Compliance

• Define KPIs and metrics to measure compliance with security policies
• Monitor and ensure adherence to organizational cybersecurity standards

Threat Detection & Response

• Identify, monitor, and analyze relevant cyber threats and assess their impact on the organization
• Design and implement automation solutions to mitigate cyber risks

Security Controls & Monitoring

• Develop and implement ongoing cybersecurity controls
• Generate insights from security systems, monitoring tools, and controls
• Build and maintain dashboards tailored to business and security needs

Requirements

Must have:

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with monitoring platforms and rule creation (SIEM)
• At least 2 years of experience operating cybersecurity defense systems
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience with cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, Active Directory (AD), GPO, and authentication mechanisms
• Experience writing technical documentation (HLD/LLD)
• In-depth familiarity with security solutions such as DLP, WAF, IDM, Vulnerability Assessment (VA)
• Experience working in a mid-to-large scale organization
