Data Engineer
We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to help shape our Data Platform and deliver data products that improve animal health and welfare.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate scalable, production-grade data systems and pipelines on AWS or Azure, in close collaboration with Data Science, Product, and R&D.
Requirements
- 3+ years in data engineering
- Strong SQL and production Python
- Cloud experience on AWS or Azure
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses
- Deep expertise in at least one of the following: Apache Spark, Snowflake, Databricks, dbt
- Ability to describe systems end-to-end and dive into technical details
- Strong communication and teamwork

- Airflow, Databricks Workflows, Azure Data Factory, Matillion
- Data architecture, governance, modeling, cost management
- Kafka, streaming, Terraform, modern BI integrations
