Head of Reliability & Quality Engineering – Airborne Systems | Ashdod | IAI – ELTA Systems

We are looking for a Head of Reliability & Quality Engineering – Airborne Systems to join the Engineering & Systems Division at IAI’s ELTA.

The position includes:

• Professional management (Matrix Management) of Reliability, Quality, Safety and Environmental Engineering personnel

• Management of quality engineering activities within the division

• Management of system-level FRACAS processes and generation of lessons learned and cross-organizational insights

• Participation as part of the development matrix together with System Engineering and Project Managers in system-level design decision making

• Leading system analyses: Reliability Allocation, RBD, FTA, FMECA, Hazard Analysis

• Defining Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAMS) requirements at system level

• Responsibility for planning, management and control of system-level environmental and stress testing

• Establishing organizational policies, methodologies and work tools in the fields of Reliability and Quality Engineering

What we’re looking for:

Requirements:

• Israeli citizenship

• Engineering degree

• 5+ years of experience in Reliability Engineering / Quality Engineering / Systems Engineering / Project Management

• At least 3 years of experience in professional leadership, matrix management or command of more than 5 people

• High level of Hebrew and English (reading, writing and speaking)

Additional criteria (advantage):

• Quality or Reliability Engineering certification – CQE and/or CRE

• Experience with complex multidisciplinary systems

• Experience working according to stringent military / aerospace / civil standards

Leadership criteria:

• Deep system-level perspective and holistic thinking ability

• Professional authority and leadership in decision-making processes

• Ability to work with senior management and customers
