Planning Team Leader

A leading technology-driven industrial company is seeking a Planning Team Leader to lead planning and control activities within a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role combines team leadership, operational planning, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic setting with multiple priorities, stakeholders, and operational constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of planners.
• Manage production and supply plans to support business and operational objectives.
• Prioritize workloads and resources in alignment with production requirements and customer commitments.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive timely resolution of operational challenges.
• Analyze large volumes of data to support planning decisions and improve operational performance.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and enhance planning and control processes.
• Drive execution while maintaining a strategic view of organizational priorities.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing a Planning, Production Control, Operations, or Supply Chain team.
• Experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Priority.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret large datasets, assess operational impacts, and support decision-making in a dynamic environment.
• Experience working with engineering changes, shifting priorities, and cross-functional operational challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze complex operational scenarios, evaluate the impact of engineering and supply chain changes, and translate data into actionable production plans.
