Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Expert – Food & GRAS Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Expert to lead and manage regulatory activities within the company. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with global food regulations, with a strong focus on GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) frameworks. The ideal candidate will bridge regulatory requirements with scientific innovation, supporting product development and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee regulatory strategies and compliance activities across the company
• Manage GRAS submissions, documentation, and regulatory pathways for new and existing ingredients/products
• Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations and standards (FDA, USDA and Israeli ministry of health)
• Prepare and review technical and regulatory documentation, including dossiers and safety assessments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
• Proven experience in regulatory affairs within the food industry
• Strong hands-on experience with GRAS regulations and submissions

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline
• Experience working with novel ingredients or functional foods
• Prior experience interacting with regulatory authorities
