Backend Team Lead

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Backend Team Lead, based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel, with flexible work-from-home options. As a Backend Team Lead, you will lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, drive technical decision-making, ensure high-quality code delivery, and maintain scalable, efficient backend services. Day-to-day responsibilities include working closely with cross-functional teams, designing and implementing backend solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing system performance, and adhering to best practices and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Lead and manage a team of developers
• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance backend services using C#.
• ֿAt least 2 years of proven experience in a managerial role leading development teams.
• Minimum of 6 years of active experience as an Hands-on Backend Developer.
• Take an active Hands-on role (~30% of the position), including coding, code reviews, and solving technical challenges
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
• Work efficiently with MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies to ensure data integrity and optimize performance.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and ensure their security, scalability, and efficiency.
• Requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting.
• Proficient with Git or other version control systems.

Advantages:

• Extensive experience in C# and .NET framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization in high-traffic environments.
