System Engineer - 236606

A leading defense company is seeking an experienced System Engineer!

Key Responsibilities

• Define and characterize the system and physical mission requirements of the seeker head.
• Lead multidisciplinary systems engineering activities and drive complex system solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to algorithm developers, physicists, software engineers, and hardware engineers.
• Take ownership of system integration, testing, validation, and maturation through operational readiness.
• Drive system-level decision-making throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of engineering milestones and project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Approximately 10+ years of experience in multidisciplinary systems engineering with a broad system-level perspective.
• Strong technical capabilities and proven ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience guiding multidisciplinary technical teams and driving decision-making.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of responsibility, resilience, and ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment with national significance.
