Senior Software Engineer

Wanted: Senior Software Engineer for an Ad-Tech company in Holon. This is a very rewarding full-time and Hybrid position.

The chosen candidate will drive the architectural design and implementation of high-throughput, ultra-low-latency distributed systems processing hundreds of thousands of requests per second. This individual will enjoy absolute end-to-end ownership of the entire data pipeline—from writing Go microservices to deploying via Terraform and orchestrating on Kubernetes—directly influencing the system's core architecture. It represents a rare opportunity to shape modern engineering practices from the ground up on a cutting-edge Go, Kafka, and AWS/Databricks stack without the constraints of legacy code.

Job Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices and real-time event streaming systems utilizing Go and Kafka.

● Own infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and GitOps practices, taking features end-to-end from initial concept to Kubernetes production environments.

● Build and optimize scalable data pipelines feeding the data lake to support real-time analytics, user feature aggregation, and machine learning training data.

● Drive key architectural decisions, troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed systems, and establish foundational engineering conventions.

Job Requirements:

● 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years of hands-on experience with Go in high-throughput production environments.

● Strong expertise in distributed systems architecture, microservices, and message queues or streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, MSK).

● Proven experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, S3, DynamoDB), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

● Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB) along with modern observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

● B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, combined with a strong ownership mindset and a passion for solving performance-optimization challenges.
