About the role

We're looking for a Presales Engineer specializing in Microsoft and Azure Security to join our growing team. You'll be the technical bridge between our customers' security needs and Microsoft's cloud security solutions - leading discovery sessions, designing architectures, and presenting tailored proposals that win business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead presales engagements for Microsoft Security solutions (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID).
• Conduct security assessments and gap analyses for prospects and existing customers.
• Design and present Azure & Microsoft 365 security architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles.
• Develop and deliver technical demos, POCs, and workshops showcasing Microsoft security capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales to build proposals, respond to RFPs, and support deal closure.
• Manage GDAP configurations, Conditional Access policies, and identity protection strategies as part of solution design.
• Stay current on Microsoft licensing (E3/E5, EMS, Defender plans) and map license entitlements to customer security needs.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customer IT and security teams.
• Support onboarding and handoff to delivery/implementation teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in presales, solution engineering, or technical consulting in the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Security stack: Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, Office 365), Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID.
• Hands-on experience with Azure security services (Azure Firewall, NSGs, Azure Security Center / Defender for Cloud, Key Vault).
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security & compliance (Purview, DLP, sensitivity labels, eDiscovery).
• Experience with identity and access management - MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM.
• Familiarity with Microsoft CSP model, GDAP, and partner center operations.
• Self-driven, able to manage multiple presales engagements simultaneously.
