Immersa is a Frequency Intelligence company on a mission to change how the human body recovers and performs. We are building hardware-software platforms powered by adaptive sound and vibration technology and design personalized vibroacoustic experiences that support nervous system optimization and enhance human performance in professional and recovery settings.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The role involves owning the complete hardware function at Immersa, including embedded systems, firmware, electronics, power architecture, manufacturing coordination, and hardware-software integration. You will collaborate directly with the CEO and software team to deliver production-ready hardware products. We are a post-raise, pre-pilot company with validated technology and a clear path to commercial scale - we are looking for someone to grow with us.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own hardware architecture across all current and future Immersa products
• Lead communication protocols and hardware-software integration with the software team
• Manage electronics sourcing, component selection, and manufacturing coordination
• Define and execute hardware acceptance testing and validation processes
• Build and manage relationships with manufacturing partners and external specialists
• Grow the hardware function as the company scales

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Embedded systems engineering depth - firmware, circuit design, real-world hardware integration
• BLE proficiency (GATT, iOS stack behavior, connection management)
• ESP32 or equivalent microcontroller architecture experience
• Analog electronics fundamentals (amplifier circuits, signal integrity, power distribution)
• A startup mindset - you've owned outcomes, operated in ambiguity, and shipped under pressure

NICE TO HAVE

• Audio or haptic hardware experience
• Firmware development (C/C++ for ESP-IDF or Arduino)
