Cloud Security Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team and take part in the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of critical cloud environments. This role is focused primarily on Azure infrastructure, cloud operations, automation, and platform management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support critical cloud infrastructures, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure environments.
• Build and manage scalable, resilient, and reliable cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Maintain and support servers, operating systems, virtual machines, and infrastructure components across secure environments.
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
• Monitor cloud environments and analyze logs using tools such as Splunk to ensure operational stability and performance.
• Work closely with customer teams and provide hands-on support for cloud and infrastructure environments.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and infrastructure hardening activities.
• Integrate and implement new Azure services and capabilities into existing environments.
• Investigate system events, troubleshoot complex issues, and resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Work across both Windows and Linux environments.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, servers, and cloud environments.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure administration - mandaroty
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
• Experience with monitoring and log analysis platforms, preferably Splunk.
• Experience with virtual machines, virtualization technologies, containers, and cloud platforms.
• Basic scripting capabilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Understanding of infrastructure hardening and operational best practices.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, communication protocols, and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience from a technological military unit – an advantage.
