About the Role

Software Quality Assurance (SQA) encompasses all activities required to ensure the quality of software throughout the entire product lifecycle, from the proposal stage, through design and development, and up to final delivery to the customer.

The role focuses on ensuring that software development processes are properly defined, documented, and followed throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, utilizing various methods and controls to ensure the quality of the final product.

Responsibilities

• Accompany software development projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from proposal preparation to final delivery.
• Write, review, and perform software quality assurance activities within projects.
• Review software project management documentation and verify compliance with organizational procedures and contractual requirements.
• Review and approve software development activities according to the criteria defined for each lifecycle stage, including documentation reviews and verification of traceability between requirements, design, and test documentation, such as:
• SSS ↔ SRS
• SRS ↔ SDD
• SRS ↔ STD
• SRS ↔ STP
• Conduct audits of software development processes and deliverables and participate in continuous process improvement activities.
• Participate in design reviews, define quality requirements at various project levels, and monitor their implementation.
• Be involved in design verification, validation, and system qualification activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report quality assurance findings and results in a clear, comprehensive, and professional manner.
• Utilize quality assurance, testing, and reporting tools as required.

Mandatory Requirements

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience as an SQA Engineer in multidisciplinary systems.
• Strong understanding of Hardware/Software (HW/SW) interfaces.
• Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as:
• DOORS
• TFS
• QC
• ClearQuest
• ClearCase
• and similar tools.
• High level of English proficiency (spoken, written, and reading).

Additional Qualifications

• M.Sc. degree – Advantage.
• Familiarity with quality standards, CMMI, and software/project development methodologies.
• Certified AS9100 Internal Auditor (or completion of an AS9100 Auditor Course) – Advantage.
