Operational Procurement Department Manager

Responsible for leading the organization’s operational procurement activities, including end‑to‑end purchase order management, supplier coordination, and ensuring material and service availability. The role includes ongoing interfaces with production sites, logistics, finance, and oversight of international shipping, as well as handling exceptions and escalations.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a team of ~10 employees
• Leading operational and managerial routines
• Managing purchase orders and delivery follow‑up
• Ongoing supplier management
• Providing operational support and issue resolution
• Monitoring operational data and meeting KPI targets
• Implementing procurement processes and agreements
• Managing international shipping activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (advantage: Logistics or related fields)
• Team management experience
• Minimum 5 years of operational procurement experience
• Experience in international shipping
• ERP experience required (SAP – advantage)
• Full proficiency in Excel
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to work in a dynamic, high‑volume environment
