Accounts Payable & Receivables Accountant (Maternity Leave Replacement)

Alpa BDF, the official representative of the global Beiersdorf corporation, leading brands such as Nivea and Labello in Israel, is seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivables Accountant for a maternity leave replacement position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage vendor payment processes and invoice verification.
• Process employee expense reports.
• Prepare periodic reports and analyses, including accounts payable balances and payment forecasts.
• Manage the collections process, including issuing invoices and ensuring timely customer payments.
• Prepare collection reports and perform bi-weekly collection activities to improve cash flow.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and other accounting tasks as required.
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of payment and collection processes.

Requirements

• Bookkeeping Certificate.
• Proven experience in accounts payable and customer collections.
• High level of English (spoken, written, and reading).
• Proficiency in accounting systems (SAP – a significant advantage) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Position Type: Temporary position (Maternity Leave Replacement, 6-9 months)

The office is located in Herzeliya Pituach (not on the train line), Hybrid options.
