We are hiring a Data Engineer for a public organization located in the Jerusalem area.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a large-scale enterprise Data Lake in a Cloudera environment
- Design and develop data architectures
- Build ETL/ELT processes and high-volume data processing pipelines
- Work in a distributed environment and support advanced data infrastructures for AI and ML solutions
- Collaborate with data, development, and infrastructure teams and lead tasks end-to-end
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in Big Data roles
- Experience working with the Apache Ecosystem, particularly Spark, Hive, and Impala
- Experience developing ETL/ELT processes using Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and performing performance optimization
- Experience working with distributed data architectures, data modeling, and Data Lake design
