Hardware Integration Technician / Practical Engineer

Following a highly successful public offering on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the stable, 40-person company is entering a significant growth and expansion phase.

Located in the Center region (exceptionally accessible, situated directly on a primary train line) and operating on a hybrid model with two days of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Hardware & Lab Integration Technician stepping into a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role to bridge the gap between physical hardware and edge-AI execution loops.
• Taking ownership of core laboratory operations, prototype assembly, component soldering, precision wiring, and initial hardware bringing-up.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional R&D squads spanning Hardware, Embedded Software, and Algorithm teams.
• Combining core laboratory development and deep debugging with dynamic, occasional outdoor field testing and systems deployment.

Requirements-

• Practical Engineer degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, OR an equivalent technical background from a military technology unit - Mandatory
• Proven, hands-on experience in electronic assembly, precision soldering, custom wiring, and system-level validation - Mandatory
• Full readiness to balance intensive laboratory engineering with periodic field deployments and physical system installations - Mandatory
• Practical familiarity with standard lab equipment such as Multimeters, DC Power Supplies, and Oscilloscopes - Strong Advantage
• Hands-on experience designing or troubleshooting custom cable harnesses and specialized connectors - Advantage
• Working knowledge of Linux environments or edge-computing platforms like NVIDIA Jetson - Advantage
• Technical background interfacing with digital cameras, optical sensors, or military-grade embedded hardware - Advantage
• Passion for Maker projects, 3D printing, or rapid prototyping using Arduino, ESP32, and similar microcontrollers - Advantage
