We are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join the Compliance Department of a leading financial organization and play a key role in maintaining regulatory standards, governance, and enforcement processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead compliance reviews, control processes, and ongoing monitoring activities.
- Identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation plans.
- Support regulatory examinations, audits, and reporting requirements.
- Draft, review, and update compliance policies, procedures, and enforcement frameworks.
- Provide guidance and training to business units on compliance-related matters.
- Work closely with legal, risk, operations, and senior management teams.
- Investigate compliance incidents and oversee corrective actions when required.
Requirements
- Law degree (LL.B.) and membership in the Israeli Bar Association – mandatory.
- At least 4 years of experience in Compliance, Enforcement, Regulatory Affairs, or Financial Regulation – mandatory.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Experience drafting policies, procedures, and regulatory documentation.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Previous experience within a financial institution, investment house, insurance company, bank, fintech company, or other regulated financial organization.
- Familiarity with financial sector regulations and governance requirements.
- Experience working with regulators and external auditors.
