FinOps Project Manager

In this critical role, you will manage a significant annual budget of approximately 850 million NIS, ensuring financial optimization, process control, and strategic technological procurement.

As a FinOps Project Manager, you will be responsible for achieving professional, technological, economic, and operational goals.

You will bridge the gap between technology and finance by implementing FinOps principles to maximize cloud investment value and foster a culture of financial responsibility among development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complex technological project budgets, coordinating with project managers and vendors.
• Formulate and implement annual and strategic budget plans for technological procurement.
• Centralize division budget planning, monitoring, and reporting in collaboration with the Ministry's finance and accounting departments.
• Provide management and control services to optimize cloud infrastructure costs and prevent resource waste.
• Develop work plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing budgets exceeding 500 million NIS, preferably in the government sector.
• Over 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP financial models.
• Experience in managing IT and technology projects.
• Background in Cloud Economics within the public sector and familiarity with the "Nimbus" government project.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration (with Accounting specialization), Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
