• Design, build, and maintain Python microservices from development to production.
• Develop real-time systems that process video streams and AI-generated insights.
• Build distributed services using REST APIs, WebSockets, and event-driven architectures.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL / PostGIS databases.
• Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes (GKE).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and reliability.
• Integrate external APIs and maritime data sources.
• Take full ownership of features from product requirements to production deployment.

• 3–5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong Python skills and experience building production systems.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
• Experience designing APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes environments.
• AI-native mindset and strong engineering judgment.

• Experience with video streaming technologies (RTSP, HLS, WebRTC, GStreamer).
• Nvidia DeepStream or computer vision experience.
• GCP, Helm, Terraform, or ArgoCD experience.
• Background in edge computing or real-time AI systems.
