Data Engineer – Apache NiFi & Linux (Production Data Pipelines)

We are hiring: Data Engineer – Apache NiFi & Linux (Production Data Pipelines)

We are looking for a highly technical Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Apache NiFi and deep expertise in Linux-based production environments.

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, workflow automation, and integration systems operating in mission-critical production environments. The position requires strong infrastructure understanding, production mindset, and experience working with real-time and batch data systems.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Apache NiFi

Build and optimize real-time and batch data flows across multiple systems

Operate and support Linux-based production environments running data platforms

Monitor and ensure reliability of data ingestion, processing, and delivery pipelines

Develop automation processes for data movement, transformation, and system integration

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA)

Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Networking, and Security teams

Work with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Elasticsearch, Zabbix, and similar platforms

Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across production systems

Requirements:

At least 1+ year of experience in Monitoring / Automation / Production systems/ Data Engineer – Must

Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi – Must

Strong experience with Linux environments – Must

Experience building or maintaining data pipelines or workflow systems

Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash / PowerShell

Solid understanding of networking, servers, and distributed systems

Experience working in production environments with high availability requirements

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle production incidents

Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Infrastructure, and Data teams
