Backend Engineer

📍 Tel Aviv | Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing cybersecurity company building innovative solutions in the identity and cloud security space.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native backend systems.
• Build and enhance integrations with third-party platforms and APIs.
• Develop and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Own backend services end-to-end, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
• Build monitoring, automation, and performance optimization tools.
• Design and implement large-scale data processing and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver new features and capabilities.
• Drive technical excellence, scalability, security, and reliability across backend services.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Strong experience building scalable backend systems and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience working with containerized environments.
• Experience with messaging and queuing systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and security best practices.
• Ability to take ownership and drive projects independently.

Advantage:

• Experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience working with big data technologies and analytics platforms.
