Failure Analysis & Reliability Engineer

Elmo Motion Control is looking for a Failure Analysis & Reliability Engineer to join their team!

In this role, you will lead product reliability and failure analysis activities, investigate component and system-level failures, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions to improve product quality and reliability.

• Perform root cause analysis on PCBA, electronic components, and systems
• Analyze failures from customers, field returns, and production lines
• Lead CAPA activities and reliability improvement initiatives
• Work closely with R&D, Production, and global customers
• Collaborate with suppliers and external analysis laboratories
• Drive product reliability improvements and Design for Reliability (DfR) activities for future products
• Prepare technical reports and present findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  
  

• B.Sc. in Electronics or Electrical Engineering – Mandatory
• 5+ years of experience in Electronics Engineering, Hardware, Product Engineering, Integration, or Hardware Quality roles
• Proven experience in Failure Analysis and component-level / PCBA troubleshooting – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience with electronic test and laboratory equipment
• Experience with power systems, drives, power supplies, or servo systems
• Experience working with global customers and suppliers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, investigative mindset
• High level of English (written and spoken) – Mandatory
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
