Data Engineer

An early-stage, high-growth Mobile Entertainment & Consumer Tech startup that has secured an impressive Seed round from leading venture capital firms.

Supported by strong, established revenue streams and massive daily global traction, their platform processes millions of active user events and app interactions worldwide.

The company's core R&D center is located in Tel Aviv (exceptionally accessible, situated directly on a primary train line) and operates on a hybrid model allowing for two days of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Founding / Solo Data Engineer & Architect stepping into a high-impact, greenfield role as the first dedicated data function in the company, reporting directly to the CTO.
• Taking 100% technical ownership to design, architect, and implement the entire data infrastructure and analytical ecosystem from scratch.
• Managing, modeling, and scaling massive-scale data layers to ingest and process high-velocity mobile telemetry, streaming pipelines, and real-time user engagement metrics.
• Building a modern data stack centered around Python, SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines (Airflow/dbt), and BI analytics.

Requirements-

• B.Sc./B.A. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technological discipline - Mandatory
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and scaling data pipelines, analytical tools, and data warehouses - Mandatory
• Strong, expert-level programming and scripting skills in Python and SQL - Mandatory
• Practical experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Airflow or dbt - Mandatory
• High proficiency with modern BI platforms (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI) creating complex dashboards and data products - Mandatory
• Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting mobile attribution platforms, product analytics, or ad tech networks - Mandatory
