Backend Team Lead

A highly successful, global Cybersecurity company that engineers cloud-native architectures enabling secure, high-speed enterprise communications.

Employing approximately 900 professionals worldwide with a prominent R&D hub in Israel, the company builds high-scale network security infrastructures trusted by top-tier global enterprises.

The company's corporate headquarters is located in Tel Aviv (exceptionally accessible, situated within short walking distance of a primary train line) and operates on a hybrid model allowing for two days of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• R&D Team Lead managing an organic engineering squad of 5 developers, reporting directly to the Group Manager.
• Maintaining a strong Hands-On presence, driving complex server-side engineering while overseeing a high-concurrency Monitoring product.
• Orchestrating cross-functional, organization-wide integration projects across a highly distributed modern stack: Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, React, and Golang.

Requirements-

• 2 years of proven technical management / team leadership experience - Mandatory
• Strong domain background within Cybersecurity or Networking ecosystems - Mandatory
• Academic/Military Excellence: B.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or background in an elite military tech unit - Mandatory
• Strong production-grade programming experience with Golang, Python, or Node.js - Mandatory
• Solid experience architecting and deploying systems over Public Cloud infrastructures - Mandatory
• Deep technical proficiency with microservices architectures and distributed systems - Mandatory
