Mobile Engineer

They combine a high-velocity, product-centric culture with deep technological challenges in mobile processing and real-time AI voice and video streaming.

Located in Tel Aviv (exceptionally accessible, situated directly on a primary train line) and operates on a flexible hybrid model allowing for two days of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Android Technical Lead & Architect taking complete, end-to-end technical ownership over the flagship Android platform and core mobile codebase.
• Reporting directly to the CTO to drive mobile system architecture, spearhead core feature engineering, and provide professional mentorship and leadership to offshore Android developers.
• Architecting complex, low-latency infrastructure to handle Real-time Audio/Video Conversational Flows and state machine synchronization.
• Optimizing heavy UI rendering performance to deliver fluid, real-time interactivity for AI Avatar-based user interfaces.
• Deeply integrating native mobile clients with downstream AI cloud services via REST, gRPC, and bidirectional Streaming APIs.

Requirements-

• 5 years of professional software engineering experience in product-centric organizations (Mandatory).
• 3+ years of deep, hands-on production engineering focused on Android using Kotlin (Mandatory).
• Solid experience integrating with complex backend communication layers (REST, gRPC, WebSockets, or Streaming APIs) (Mandatory).
• Strong experience with Android concurrency (Coroutines, Flow, threading) is a major advantage.
• Strong UI engineering background (Jetpack Compose, performance optimization) is a significant asset.
• Practical experience with CI/CD mobile pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise) or Java is a plus.
