Automation Team Lead

The company's R&D center is located in Tel Aviv (exceptionally accessible, situated within short walking distance of a primary train line) and operates on a hybrid model allowing for two days of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Automation Engineering Team Lead stepping into a high-impact role reporting directly to the R&D Group Manager to spearhead the company's automation strategy.
• Managing and mentoring an organic squad of 3 automation engineers, driving professional growth, technical execution, and code quality.
• Balancing technical stewardship with active execution in a ~50% Hands-On split, architecting and building robust automation infrastructures completely from scratch.
• Leading the integration of modern AI-driven testing paradigms, expanding Continuous Integration pipelines, and executing deep code reviews.
• Serving as a pivotal stakeholder, collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Product, and operational units to instill high-quality engineering methodologies.

Requirements-

• 2+ years of proven professional experience as an Automation Team Lead or Technical Lead within software organizations (Mandatory).
• Deep, extensive production programming experience building automation infrastructures from scratch utilizing Python (Mandatory).
• Strong, hands-on mastery developing advanced test suites within the PyTest framework (Mandatory).
• Proven track record operating within fast-paced, product-centric startup environments (Mandatory).
• Solid technical proficiency working with Docker, API architectures, and enterprise-grade CI/CD tools.
• Strong leadership maturity, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and a passion for establishing technical footprints.
