Software Team Lead

Employing over 60,000 professionals globally, the company engineers advanced, life-saving patient monitoring solutions that utilize predictive clinical telemetry to track vital physiological signs in real time.

The Israeli R&D hub operates as a highly collaborative, tight-knit, and agile site (comprising roughly 50 engineers), established following a strategic acquisition.

The company's corporate R&D facility is situated in a prime Tel Aviv location (exceptionally accessible, located right on a primary train line) and operates on a hybrid model allowing for two days of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Embedded C++ R&D Team Lead stepping into a critical, high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the site's R&D Director.
• Managing, mentoring, and expanding a distributed organic engineering squad (currently comprising 3 developers across Israel and the US), driving both tactical execution and personal career development.
• Balancing strong technical stewardship with strategic leadership in a ~50% Hands-On / Tech Lead split, architecting the software foundations for a next-generation patient monitoring platform.
• Serving as the primary technical point of contact, aligning development roadmaps, and representing the local squad across global cross-functional engineering matrixes spanning the US and India.
• Designing, developing, and hardening low-latency, safety-critical software infrastructures across both High-Level and Low-Level Linux Embedded environments.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a highly equivalent quantitative discipline (Mandatory).
• 2+ years of proven professional experience as a Software Team Lead or Technical Lead, with a track record of driving delivery and mentoring engineers (Mandatory).
• 5+ years of hands-on production programming experience in C++ (Mandatory).
• Deep, practical technical expertise developing within Embedded Linux environments (Mandatory).
• Comprehensive understanding of low-level software engineering, microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), or multi-threaded processing.
• Outstanding communication skills, independence, and cultural agility to seamlessly navigate and collaborate within a global corporate environment.
