A leading AI technology company is developing advanced solutions for the defense industry, focused on enhancing situational awareness, accelerating decision-making, and supporting autonomous and semi-autonomous capabilities across manned and unmanned platforms.
The company’s products are integrated into advanced defense systems through partnerships with leading multinational companies. This is an opportunity to join a strong research and engineering team working on complex real-world computer vision challenges and bringing novel AI capabilities into production.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop image and video processing algorithms from early-stage research through full product development.
- Develop advanced algorithms for perception, spatial understanding, and autonomous decision-making using deep neural networks and classical computer vision methods.
- Work on challenging computer vision problems involving real-world sensors, platforms, and operational environments.
- Integrate multiple algorithms into complete system-level solutions tailored to specific product needs.
- Optimize end-to-end algorithmic and system performance in production-grade environments.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineering teams to transform innovative ideas into high-quality AI products.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field- must.
- At least 5 years of experience developing computer vision algorithms- must.
- Experience with at least one of the following domains: scene and object motion estimation, SLAM, state estimation, sensor fusion, generative models such as GANs, pose estimation, object detection, tracking, semantic segmentation, or camera calibration- must.
- Strong Python experience- must.
- Strong understanding of computer vision research and current CV methodologies- must.
- Familiarity with deep learning and machine learning- significant advantage.
- Familiarity with sensors, cameras, video systems, or system engineering- advantage.
- Passion for high-quality system engineering and translating research ideas into real-world products.
