We are seeking a full-time Chief Psychiatrist and Medical Director to lead the psychiatric clinical teams at Taliaz.

The candidate will hold ongoing medical and clinical responsibility for the psychiatric service, lead the team of psychiatrists, develop unified clinical standards, support complex clinical decision-making, oversee clinical risk, and lead quality, training and medical innovation processes.

This is a senior leadership role that requires close collaboration with the company’s management, clinical teams, operations, innovation and development teams. The role will help translate real clinical needs into effective workflows, structured documentation, data-driven processes and advanced digital tools, including AI-based solutions.

• Lead the psychiatric service, including defining, implementing and maintaining a unified medical standard across the psychiatric team.

• Lead medical team meetings, case discussions, learning from complex cases and providing ongoing professional guidance.

• Provide professional support to psychiatrists, care managers and operational teams in situations of clinical uncertainty, including risk cases, dilemmas, suitability for service, and transitions between care settings.

• Write, update and implement medical protocols and procedures in areas such as diagnosis, follow-up, prescriptions, medication renewals, no-shows, telepsychiatry, children and adolescents, risk situations and treatment termination processes.

• Lead Clinical Governance processes.

• Build an annual training plan for the medical and clinical teams, including case discussions, professional training, guideline updates and training on clinical and technological workflows.

• Participate in the recruitment, onboarding and professional support of new psychiatrists, including defining professional profiles, conducting clinical interviews and leading clinical onboarding.

• Work with innovation, data and development teams to translate clinical needs from the field into product and system requirements, including clinical dashboards, automated summaries, alerts, structured documentation and AI tools.

• Board-certified psychiatrist with a valid medical license from the Israeli Ministry of Health.

• At least 5 years of experience after completing psychiatry specialization.

• Experience working in public healthcare systems, HMOs, multidisciplinary clinics, mental health services or large healthcare organizations – a significant advantage.

• Experience providing professional leadership, supervision, training or holding a role with broad clinical responsibility - a must.

• Experience writing, implementing and embedding clinical protocols.

• Experience in telepsychiatry or remote psychiatric care – an advantage.

• Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, or an additional area of specialization – an advantage.

• Strong systemic perspective alongside deep clinical understanding.

• Ability to lead physicians and multidisciplinary professionals in a professional, respectful manner.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills, independence and ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously.

• Practical, service-oriented and solution-focused approach.

• Openness to technology, data and AI, alongside critical thinking around safety, quality and clinical responsibility.
