Senior System Engineer – Aerospace / UAV Systems

A technology startup is looking for an experienced System Engineer to join a small, high-impact team and take full ownership of a core system engineering domain.

This is a hands-on role in a multidisciplinary development environment, involving complex systems, system integration, testing, and operational trials.

Role Description:

• Lead the system engineering aspects of complex technology systems from end to end
• Define system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and integration processes
• Drive integration between mechanical, electronic, and software subsystems
• Plan and support system-level testing, validation, and operational trials
• Identify and solve complex system-level issues in real time
• Work closely with R&D, engineering, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Take full ownership of a key system domain in a dynamic startup environment

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field
• 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer working on complex multidisciplinary systems
• Proven experience with aerospace / airborne systems, such as aircraft, missiles, UAVs, or related platforms
• Experience leading integration between multiple subsystems
• Strong understanding of system architecture, requirements, interfaces, verification, and validation processes
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of a system domain
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex technical environments
