UCT is looking for a Master Data Specialist for a new and central role within the organization.

The role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and controlling master data across the company’s organizational systems, with a strong focus on part numbers, engineering and logistics change processes, and data accuracy between PLM and SAP systems.

This position combines system-wide, operational, and engineering understanding, working closely with multiple internal interfaces. It requires the ability to identify in advance the potential impact, conflicts, and risks resulting from changes in data, configuration, and part numbers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create, update, and maintain part numbers and master data in the organizational systems.
• Manage configuration control and engineering/logistics changes, including handling ECR/ECO processes.
• Review the impact of changes on planning, purchasing, warehouse, production, logistics, and finance processes.
• Identify gaps, duplications, inconsistencies, and conflicts in data or workflows.
• Work regularly with SAP and PLM Enovia, while understanding the synchronization between the systems.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding data maintenance and change management processes.

• Experience working with master data, part numbers, configuration control, or ECR/ECO processes.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Familiarity with SAP MM/PP modules — significant advantage.
• Experience with PLM systems, preferably Enovia — advantage.
• Understanding of manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, logistics, or planning processes.
• Ability to work with multiple internal interfaces and maintain a broad system-wide perspective.
• High level of accuracy, organization, attention to detail, and ability to identify the impact of changes on existing processes.
• High level of English.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  
  

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role involving SAP master data
