SOIA is building a new operating layer for automotive service centers, designed to bring transparency, control, and data driven decision making into a legacy industry lacking data and still relying heavily on fragmented processes and manual communication.

The company was founded by Ziv Gross, an Industrial Engineer with 16 years of operational and research experience in the automotive service industry. After years of managing operations, service processes, customer journeys, business performance, and analyzing thousands of service events, a fundamental industry gap became clear service centers generate enormous amounts of operational activity, yet most decisions are still made with limited visibility, fragmented information, and very little actionable intelligence.

We’re seeking our Founding CTO & Technical Co-Founder, a hands on technology leader who can turn this vision into a working product.

The Role

This is a Founding hands on CTO role for someone who relates to the pain points and has the depth, ownership, and resilience to transform the vision into a working product. We’re looking for a product minded technology leader who can take the concept and build it into a live MVP, tested with real customers in the Israeli automotive service market, with a clear path toward broader global expansion. You will own the technical build from day one, from product definition and architecture through development, deployment and testing.

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead the end to end development of the first SOIA MVP, including product specification, technical architecture, UX and UI decisions, development priorities, and cloud deployment. Act as the sole developer for the MVP phase, taking full ownership of every line of code (Frontend, Backend, and Infra) before scaling the team.

Main responsibilities:

• Build the full stack product, including backend, frontend, database, and core infrastructure

• Design and deploy the cloud environment needed to support early customer pilots

• Translate operational data into clear BI, dashboards, insights, and practical decision support tools for service center owners and end users

• Work closely with the founder to define what is essential for the first pilot and what should be deferred to later product stages

• Create a scalable technical foundation that can support future product development, customer onboarding, and team growth

• Generate clear technical documentation and prepare the technology side of the company for future hires

• Help shape the product vision, technology roadmap, and long-term technical strategy of the company

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone with strong hands on execution ability, sound technical judgment, entrepreneurial thinking, and a real appetite for building from zero.

You should have:

• Proven ability to build and launch products from zero to production

• Experience creating MVPs, startup products, SaaS platforms, or technology ventures from scratch

• Strong backend, frontend, database, and cloud deployment capabilities

• Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to take full ownership

• Ability to make smart tradeoffs between speed, quality, scalability, and pilot readiness

• Clear communication and documentation skills

• Willingness to deeply understand the automotive service reality and its pain points

Advantage

Experience with mobile application development, including React Native, Flutter, or PWA, is a strong advantage.

Experience with BI, analytics, workflow automation, SaaS platforms, operational systems GenAI orchestration, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Agentic workflows – a major advantage., or decision support platforms is also highly relevant.

This is a build from the ground up role.

You should be comfortable with ambiguity, direct customer feedback, fast iteration, and the reality of an early stage venture.

You should also be excited by the opportunity to build not only a product, but potentially a category defining company in a massive industry undergoing digital transformation.

Commitment

Part time to full time based on stages and capabilities.

~30-40% time needed for a start.

The role can begin part time, with the goal of increasing involvement as the product, pilots, and company progress.

Status

The immediate objective is to build the first MVP and launch initial pilots in Israel, with a longer term plan for global expansion.

Location

Remote friendly (Israel only), with periodic in person meetings and participation in field pilots when needed.

Compensation

This is a co founder level opportunity with meaningful equity.
