Research and Development Engineer

About the Role:

Discure Technologies is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on R&D Engineer to join our team as we advance our implantable bioelectronic device toward a pivotal clinical study. This is a full-time, office-based position located in Petah Tikva, BSR City, reporting to the VP R&D.

The candidate will own varied technical tasks, manage external suppliers and drive deliverables from problem definition through tested, documented solutions. This will include contributing to product development, developing and executing test plans, supporting verification and validation activities, and leading data analysis and documentation.

The Discure System is a multidisciplinary product, that combines implantable electronics, mechanics, materials, electrochemistry, biology, and clinical application. The role offers significant room to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

·      Own design and development tasks as a full contributor

·      Support a range of R&D development and testing activities across the product

·      Perform data analysis and translate test results into clear conclusions, and next steps

·      Manage projects and external partners

·      Support verification, validation, and technical documentation activities

·      Collaborate closely with R&D, clinical, regulatory, and quality teams

·      Take end-to-end ownership of defined technical tasks

Qualifications and Requirements

·      BSc in Engineering or a related technical field

·      3+ years of hands-on R&D experience

·      Ability to analyze data and communicate findings clearly

·      High ownership, execution-oriented problem-solving mindset

·      Coachable, curious, and willing to learn

·      Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

·      Medical device, implantable device, design controls, or data analysis experience - advantage
