Preclinical Imaging Scientist

The Preclinical Imaging Scientist will operate and maintain preclinical imaging systems (such as MRI, CT, ultrasound and optical imaging). The role includes designing and optimizing imaging protocols in collaboration with investigators, supporting animal imaging studies and data analysis.

Job Description

• Operation and maintenance of the preclinical imaging systems (MRI, CT, US, IVIS).
• Development and optimization of imaging protocols.
• Advanced processing and analysis of Imaging data.
• Collaboration with researchers (students and faculty members) to develop and carry out imaging-based research projects.  
• Writing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all imaging studies.

• Strong background in preclinical imaging (e.g., MRI, CT, optical, ultrasound) and experience designing and running in vivo imaging studies.
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in engineering, medicine, life sciences, medical physics or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in image processing and quantitative data analysis using relevant software and AI/Python based tools.
• Ability to work with small animals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support a diverse group of researchers.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to details, and ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
• Excellent level of Hebrew and English, including speaking and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
