CISO, Information Security and Cybersecurity Manager | Central Israel | Financial Organization

Mertens - Malam Team is hiring a CISO, Information Security and Cybersecurity Manager for a financial organization in Central Israel.

This is a senior leadership role focused on leading, planning, and implementing the organization’s cybersecurity and information security strategy, while ensuring regulatory compliance, protecting information assets, and maintaining business continuity.

Responsibilities:

Lead, plan, and implement the organization’s cybersecurity and information security strategy

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Protect the organization’s information assets

Support and maintain business continuity from an information security perspective

Manage cybersecurity and information security risks

Conduct risk assessments and penetration tests

Manage cybersecurity incidents

Work closely with senior management and the board of directors

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in information security and cybersecurity roles

At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role or leading teams within a financial organization

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems

CISM, CISSP, or CISA certification is required

Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud architecture

Ability to work with the board of directors and senior management
