Payroll Accountant - Maternity Leave Replacement

Waxman Group is one of Israel’s leading project management and engineering companies, supporting some of the country’s largest and most complex construction and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for handling monthly salaries for employees from end to end
• Reports to authorities - Income Tax, National Insurance, Pension and Funds
• Handling the processes of absorbing new employees and terminating employment
• Ongoing work with managers and employees on salary and attendance issues
• Payroll accounting unit in the company
• Ongoing work with the Accounting and Human Resources Department

Requirements:

• Payroll Accounting Certificate – Required
• 3 years of experience as a payroll accountant in companies with over 400 employees – * Required
• Previous background in accounting – A significant advantage
• Experience working with authorities and pension institutions
• Full command of Excel
• Experience in the "Hashabit" payroll system – An advantage
• Orderliness, accuracy, responsibility and the ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
